The legendary ~ Vibe City!

Vibe City returns with its eighth release in the series and sixth of 2026.

In this edition we welcome Bristol-born, Brooklyn-based producer Rockafella to the label with two fresh cuts of soulful, summer-ready liquid Drum & Bass.

A lifelong follower of UK bass culture, Rockafella’s roots stretch back to his early days as a Junglist.

His productions have moved across several corners of the underground, including UK Garage, but his recent music has focused firmly on the melodic and soulful side of Drum & Bass. Inspired by artists including Nu:Tone, Lenzman, DJ Marky and Pola & Bryson, he combines warm musical elements with the energy and detail of his jungle background.

Opening the release, “Indica Dub” is packed with warm, summery sub-bass, bright vocals and the kind of uplifting energy guaranteed to put a smile on your face. 

Underneath it all sits a huge jungle-driven percussion loop, brought to life through sharp, technical edits that keep the track moving from beginning to end. 

A proper feel-good roller and one we expect to become a big favourite.

“Paradise” takes the release into slightly deeper territory. 

A distorted bassline and shadowy synths sit beneath echoing vocals and crisp snares, gradually unfolding over a beautiful liquid Drum & Bass foundation. Atmospheric without losing its weight, it offers the perfect contrast to the brighter energy of “Indica Dub.”

Away from the studio, Rockafella regularly plays across New York City, moving comfortably between Drum & Bass, UKG, 140 and Bruk. 
That wide-ranging background can be heard throughout both tracks, making his Vibe City debut a release filled with soul, bass and serious dancefloor energy.

Indica Dub & Paradise are available exclusively on Beatport & Spotify from October 16th then a worldwide release October 30th.
