In the first part of your epic feature, you mentioned you were influenced by the likes of Kool G Rap. Moving forward who else took your interest in the Rap Grid of nations?…

“I’d also like to say my love for sci-fi/ the paranormal/ the unknown/the out there. Coming up listening to hip hop in the golden era, there were so many styles, so many great and dope lyrical approaches to the art form, but there was always that limit rappers would have.”

“Not saying there weren’t rappers who went beyond the norm but they weren’t as many or weren’t as popular. To me it was a whole world to explore, a whole world waiting to be engaged and it was also a whole world that I was deeply engaged in, for as long as I can remember, I have always been about the unanswered questions about not just my life but existence in general.”

“I always found myself searching for more, not being content with eating sleeping and shitting and I gotta tell ya, when you open the door to that part of the matrix, you never come back, its a maze of wonders, a spectrum of variables, the possibilities are endless,it becomes like an addiction encoded into your DNA, it becomes your biological makeup as u know it and before you know, it applies to everything you do and so naturally, it became part of my art form.” 

Your style is ‘Raw & Uncut’. How long did it take you to hone such a skill?…

“It Takes as long as life permits you to be here, to me, being good at something is spawned by being good at being consistent with it. One beautiful thing about hip hop at its best is that it’s not just a musical art form where one writes his best bars and gets in the booth, the culture in itself promotes learning, building, elevating intellectually, its a culture that also promotes the spirit of competition. Hip Hop at its height had mc’s scrambling to know more, to display lyrical superiority in the form of knowledge. there was a time in this game where the more you knew, the more respect and love you got, and learning is a life long process, from the day you are born to the people you meet, learning is constant, the energy of knowledge is infinite, even after you die, people will continue to learn more about you, based on what you learned while alive.” 

“Basically, knowledge is the kinda power that is immortal so how did I hone my skill? I lived and learned, and I’m still doing it to this day, the more I know, the more I learn, the more I experience, the sharper my knowledge banks are, the more elevated my work is because its rich in content.”

As a true-hearted artist as you are; what do you make of the ‘new wave’ – as it is? I / some would say there is a drastic lack of – ‘quality control’…. What are your thoughts on this?

“Great question, there are a lot of variables here and a lot of opinions on this matter. I’ve found this one to be touchy for the new generation but some times, you gotta say what you gotta say, my thoughts on this would be better validated by something I learned a few years ago, there was a declassified CIA document that was released to the public which spoke on how the CIA infiltrated Hollywood’s and played a part in the making of some films to gauge the behaviour of the public based on different genres.”

“They also wanted to understand if they could use media to control the general public which brings me to my point, Nothing happening now is a mistake, the more you scan society, the more you realize that people are depending less on their own intellect and primal nature. People these days want their existence dictated to them as opposed to them taking control of their destiny, in fact, dare I say its easier to control the population these days with all the tech, social media etc than it was back in the day, which is actually ironic considering with more technology, they have more power in their hands but sometimes, people are granted power to be enslaved by that power and controlled by it.”

“There are men with ultimate power who have no say and their decisions are more so echoed by shadow heads in the background.”

“This is what I think of the new wave. A lot of what they consume doesn’t build them, it doesn’t add to their existence, it’s mindless and guised with fantasy and a delusion that glorifies downfall. it’s like this, if you glorify killers and mindless people believe it, death will be the order of the day because they think death is glorious, its the same thing with the music these days, certain subjects are glorified so that then people can stay mindless.”

“It’s like this, keep people mindless and occupied with senseless shit, you can control them, and govern them, experiment on them, disenfranchise them however you want and they wouldn’t know it, because they would be too caught up finding for more self destruction.”

As a ‘post-apocalyptic EMCEE’ – do you offer any words of advice for the good people reading this, awaiting the dark fate?…

“I’ll say what I’ve always said before, if the world ends, Trust ONLY YOURSELF, the most dangerous beast you are gonna face is the fellow human. if it ended today, it would be even worse because of a world of people who have lived their lives suppressing their primal nature. such people have no control of their inner animal, they never engaged it, they never entertained the other side of their nature, their inner blood lust , so if they are put in a position where they are defeated, hopeless and boxed in by nature, they are gonna have to engage the side of them they never ever thought they would ever entertain and its gonna get beyonddark and ugly.”

“It would simply become chaos. in fact if the world ended today,A lot of these shelled, bread and buttered people will eat each other  and do the work for mother nature, it would be an instant elimination process, only the people meant to live in such a world would be left and such people would be likeminded enough to stick together and rebuild when all the chaos dies down.”

“I also wanna add how much I cant stress this enough…we need Dyson spheres, moon bases, we need to build and actually expand our moon, we need to put some resources into the stars because I believe,ultimately, our future is in the stars. I dream of a world where i could be living on the moon looking down on earth, its a shame we aren’t a type 1 civilisation yet,it could also be why we haven’t made contact yet. who wants to meet primitive species? NO ONE“

“Its funny, happened 2 months ago, I was just going through my unrecorded writtens, started counting how many tracks I’ve written and not recorded yet and turned out, I have enough work to record 10 more albums if I wanted so I started playing a few beats just reciting some of these bars and outta nowhere, inspiration. after recording the first track, I knew an album was calling so i decided to go for it, thats usually how I work on projects, its like a super power, like I get possessed and then I just relentlessly go for it. Piscean Knight is also an album I’ve been wanting to do for a minute now, something a lil different in theme, something where i expand on my lyricism and go directions people would not imagine. NO I’m not doing trap and wack raps, but I am getting a lil personal with some tracks so yeah look out for this one. I think everyone who hears it will like it.”

What are your meditations on the future of right here on mother earth?…

“Love this question because of the futurist in me but also dread the implications once u think about it.”

“We are headed for technological advancements we should have had in the turn of the millennia. transhumanism is going to be a thing sooner than you think,there are people working on storing your conscious data in a cloud so u know soon enough, they will be able to transfer such data into whatever they want, be it robot bodies or cloned bodies.”

“As you already know, our moon is slowly drifting away from earth..The sun too is dimming down, soon we will have a darker world with less energy, vertical farming is going to be the big thing so look out for that. Lack of land to build is gonna lead us to sky cities.”

“I’d like to think a cure for AIDS is on the horizon, but with that will come a new virus more deadlier and harder to contain, i believe mother nature allows these things to keep a balance in the world.”

“I predict a break through with time travel, a breakthrough with finding life, in fact I think we are gonna find microbial life in our very own solar system. there will be a break through with interstellar travel, someones gonna crack the acubierre drive code and Alpha Centauri will be accessible to us.”

“I also think governments are soon gonna dissolve for a more technological leadership, with how fast AI is developing, I can see future earth having an AI leader.”

“Our money system is gonna die out completely, transactions will be handled with credits.”

“The med bed is gonna be a thing, imagine laying on a machine that scans all your sicknesses and cures your right away without the help of a human doctor.”

“Future earth may do away with human cops and have us policed by androids, this one has dangerous implications.”

“And lastly, I believe disintegration and reintegrating atoms will be a thing, imagine if you could be transported from one place to another on an atomic level, but i can see this happening way beyond our lifetime. I also think future humans will be a lone race. there’s gonna come a time when there isn’t white or black etc, because we are all gonna have the same physical attributes due to evolution and geographical changes.”

If you were to share ONE message with the youth them  – to secure our future, what would it be?…

Look to the stars. Your future is in space. Trust me.

Personal question now; you are known to be a fan, as well as watch the good old – ‘mind fuck / ultra-violence movies!!!! How do you condition your mind for such viewings?… How do you remain strong and lucid when viewing such things?…

“AH yes yes, my fav genre of films. I go into these films expecting to be challenged, to be mind blown, to be left in shock and awe, to be left questioning things. the secret to these is not conditioning your mind for them, if you do, you won’t enjoy them, the point is to go in with no expectations, to go in blind. thats the beauty of this genre of film, you don’t know what to expect., how you are gonna feel after, all you know is that you are watching art, abstract art, art meant to challenge you, you idea of reality and everything you believe in, its the reason why I hate and can’t watch action movies/comedies. you know what to expect, you know theres a good guy,he will win, live happily ever after with the hot chick etc and its so boring and bland.”

“With mindfuck/violent movies, you sometimes have to question your morality, the fact that theres a grey area and that maybe, just maybe, even the bad guy may be doing what he is doing for reasons you can agree with, thats special to me, its why I’m such a die hard Thanos fan too, characters who’s actions you can’t dismiss whole fully because putting yourself in their shoes leaves you conflicted. I also wanna add that mindfuck movies  mirror reality sometimes, they mirror the aspect of life we ignore nonchalantly at times.”

“Me, I like to be reminded that the world aint always sweet, and sometimes, you can lose and sometimes, the villain may be heroic depending on your morality and moral lines.”

Your words of advice to MARVEL – moving forward?….

“Marvel took a dark turn with Thanos and even though they held back a bit and didn’t give us the whole package Thanos, the relentless brutal, run through 200 soldiers and destroy them Thanos, it was a good start.

 

 

Marvel now needs to continue towards being unhinged, its time for them to stop being scared to entertain dark themes/characters. its time they started giving the characters more personality as opposed to one line comedian do gooders. there is so much potential to do that now. lets get some Charles Xavier making some fucked up decisions.”

“Starlord having space ptsd and generally murking everything in his way. Galactus being an arrogant world eating douchebag, Nick fury going into hiding, winter soldier and punisher going around assassinating targets, theres so many angles to this, these will give their characters personality and more range. for instance, I was kinda disappointed that they didn’t really use Hank pym’s ant man, theres so much good history there, him beating his wife, losing his mind every time he became giant man and getting into it with the avengers for all this. marvel has been playing it too safe for too long now, its time they too started going there..look at how DC just killed it with the joker, they didn’t hold back and the world loved it.

Marvel can do the same. especially now that they have X Men back, Wolverine has so many crazy/dark and complicated stories/themes that they could do that route easily.”

“Just the same old people I enjoy here and there but no one person in particular, if I’m being honest, no one new has gotten me so excited that I lose sleep over their music daily so theres that.”

“My supporters, nothing makes me happier than giving the people something new to listen to. every song I record, I always say to self. “I hope they love this one” thanks to everyone who supports me.”
